Every job is reviewed before quoting to confirm material, thickness, dimensions, tooling and file compatibility.

More accurate than cutting by hand

Designed for jobs where consistency matters.

CNC machining uses computer-controlled movement to guide a cutting tool accurately across the material. It is especially useful when a shape is difficult to reproduce by hand, or when several parts need to match.

Bring us a sketch, measurements or a digital drawing. We’ll review the job with you and confirm whether it suits the machine before agreeing the material, price and lead time.

What the service can help with

From one-off shapes to matching components.

Exact capability depends on the chosen material, thickness, component size and finish required. The Wintech team will confirm suitability before work begins.

01

Bespoke profiles

Produce accurate outlines and shaped components for suitable timber and panel projects.

02

Pockets & rebates

Machine recessed areas and repeatable features where the agreed material and job allow.

03

Drilled patterns

Create accurately positioned holes and repeat patterns across matching components.

04

Repeatable parts

Turn one approved design into consistent pieces for furniture, joinery, interiors or site work.

How to request CNC work

Four steps from idea to finished part.

Clear information at the start helps us assess the job quickly and quote it accurately.

  1. 01
    Share the job

Send a drawing, digital file, photograph or clear sketch with the main dimensions.

  2. 02
    Confirm the material

Tell us the material, thickness, quantity and intended use — or ask us to help choose.

  3. 03
    Approve the quote

We’ll confirm suitability, compatible files, price and expected lead time.

  4. 04
    Machine & collect

Once agreed, we machine the parts on site for collection or eligible local delivery.

Not sure if your design is ready?

That’s fine. You do not need to be a CAD expert to start the conversation.

Send what you have and explain the finished result you need. We’ll tell you what further information is required and confirm which digital file formats are compatible with our setup.

CNC questions

Before you send a job.

What materials can the CNC machine process?

Suitability depends on the material, thickness and work required. Contact the team before purchasing material so we can confirm the job is appropriate for our machine.

Do I need to provide a digital file?

Not necessarily. A clear drawing or sketch can be enough to start the conversation, although a compatible digital file may be required before machining begins.

Can you produce more than one matching part?

Yes. Repeatable components are one of the main benefits of CNC machining. Send the quantity with your enquiry so it can be included in the quote.

Can I bring my own material?

Please ask first. The team must confirm that the material, condition, thickness and size are suitable before it is accepted for machining.

How much does CNC machining cost?

Pricing is job-specific and depends on setup, material, machine time, tooling and quantity. Send the details for a tailored quote.

Have a drawing or an idea?

Let’s see if CNC is right for it.
