Wintech was born in 2020, when owner Steve and his father, who also run an established construction business, saw reports of a timber shortage across the UK, while they had a larger supply than their business needed.
What began as a welcome solution for both domestic DIY enthusiasts and tradespeople alike, at a difficult time for the country and our local community of Doncaster, has become a thriving business with a loyal customer base which continues to grow.

Run by Steve and Kerry, the Wintech team offers a personal customer experience, a local, competitively priced alternative to big name timber suppliers, and an extensive supply of timber for all manner of projects, whether that be small DIY jobs, or large-scale construction projects.
We supply Treated timber, Construction timber, Studwork timber, Fencing timber, and Outdoor timber, in a range of popular sizings and sawing types, as well as Sheet materials, Fixings and beyond. As construction professionals, we know a thing or two about timber, and our team are at hand to offer any advice you may need to select the right product for your application.
Our unique – some might say “remote” location – works in our favour, saving customers from the large number of neighbouring villages around us, from having to make unnecessary journeys into major town and city centres.
If you’re unfamiliar with the area, we can send you a map ahead of time, so you’re sure to find us, or for a small fee, we offer a delivery service, so you don’t need to leave your driveway.

Deliveries to Harworth are charged at £10, and locations within 20 miles of Doncaster at £20. We can deliver to customers further away, but calculate the price based on your postcode, so get in touch with our team to discuss the price of your delivery.
If you’re in the red region on the map, you’re in luck.
Please note, deliveries to destinations beyond a 20 mile radius are accepted at our discretion, based on our available capacity, but we’ll always do our very best to help.
