At Wintech, we have an extensive range of treated timber for all manner of outdoor applications.
Softwood timber is the most common in the UK, and must be treated for use outdoors. Where untreated timber is prone to decay and fungal rot when exposed to the elements, especially in our notoriously damp climate, treated timber is protected from decay, and retains its strength and integrity.
Our treated timber is rated Use Class 3, and can be used in a huge variety of applications, including wooden structures, external walls, decking, and fencing.
Sawn and sized, much of our range of treated timber is ready to use at the point of purchase, so you can get your project moving.
More than just a local, cost-effective alternative to big name timber suppliers, we’re a team of timber specialists and construction professionals, who can help you to identify the optimal treated timber for your project. For a small-fee, we provide a bespoke sizing service, to prepare your timber for your specific application.
4X2: Ideal for framework studwork, joinery, and construction projects.
8X2: Useful in a variety of applications, but is most used for roofing studs and joists or for outdoor projects.
8X3: Commonly used in construction for joists, and a range of interior and outdoor applications.
9X2: Ideal timber for joists, retaining walls, pathways and for building garden planters.
10X2: Heavy timber, commonly used in construction as joists, flooring and decking, as well as for joinery.
4X1: Ideal for a wide range of outdoor applications, such as fencing, path edging, and building sheds and workshops.
6X1: A quality pressure treated timber, perfect for internal and outdoor projects such as flooring, garden fencing, and edging.
You can count on the quality of our roofing battens to provide the straight and consistent anchor fixing points you need. Sawn, sized, and available in a range of lengths, our treated battens are ready to use at the point of purchase.
Our 2X2 timber is ideal framing timber, with a wide range of other uses, in both structural and nonstructural applications, from small DIY projects, to fencing and roofing, where it can be used as a batten to attach cladding and tiles.
Posts are critical to many outdoor projects, including building outdoor furniture, shelving, railings, borders, pathways, and retaining walls. Our timber posts are sized, sawn, and ready for use at the moment of purchase.
Our decking boards are ideal for creating a beautiful decking area in your garden, in addition to a wide variety of outdoor applications, including building garden planters, window boxes, seating, bird tables, and beyond. The options are endless with this versatile timber.
